Saving lives one tail at a time
foster - adopt - donate
INTRODUCTION ~
Saving the lives of animals from our local counties and GA shelters that have been listed as "URGENT" and otherwise would not find a home. We don't always get the most popular breed or the pretties, but we always find them a home.
MISSION ~
SCARS is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization committed to saving abused, homeless animals and rehabilitating them for their forever home.
To save as many animals as we can from high kill shelters and to see the animal through the entire life-cycle of rescuing the animal from the shelter to getting them ready for adoption to fostering and finally into a suitable, caring, "forever" home.
COMPANY OVERVIEW ~
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity that operates through the assistance of a network of volunteers and fosters who have a love for animals and are trying to save dogs and cats from “High Kill Shelters” in our local region of West Georgia. There are so many animals that end up in shelters for so many reasons. The majority are euthanized because of lack of space in shelters. Please visit our website for additional information about us and to view our adoptable pets in need of a "forever" home. We are located in Carrollton, Georgia, If you have further questions or would like to help, please contact us at info@2ndchanceanimalshelter.com
We FULLY vet the animals and have them SPAYED/NEUTERED before adoption.
DESCRIPTION ~
We are a licensed rescue with the department of Ag and also registered with the State Secretary of GA. We are a no breed specific rescue, which means we save the ones that normally would not be saved and rehabilitate them and make them family pets.
